These are old holga photos taken from my trip to Paris back in 2000.  Some of these have never seen the light of day.  

More Headlands photos

I want these images to evoke feelings of some sort of history.  Whether it is specific to the land or to the garment, the viewer should sense that the concept deals with reverie and the past.  The garments are signifiers of a past experience; evidence that someone existed.  Viewers will have some connection to the image whether it's because of the landscape, the garment, the color, or texture, etc. in the context of the image.  It is human nature to make connections- to fill in the gaps of our synapses.

New Scans, old photos

I took these photos a WHILE ago, but finally scanned them today!  I was very pleased with the results.  I'm going to have to switch to the square more often!   I'd like to thank my Grandpa for the use of his Hasselblad.  I LOVE IT!  Remember this trip, Amanda and Andrew??  :)

Headlands Shoot #1

First day shooting at the Headlands on Tuesday June 16th.  I am already in love with shooting there!  I can't wait to see where my work takes me this summer.  These are all with my Nikon 35mm film.  I did some post-processing in PS on some of the images.
